all right i really want to talk about what's going on with this writers and actor strike and

how disney is having a tough time so let me bring in ro Roger Friedman of showbiz 411.

Roger's going to come on in a minute. Here's the thing that I don't really understand about it.

Once we get Roger, I'm going to talk to him about it. I saw this proposal and it kind of shocks

me, if it's real, if it's not fake news. It's about they they talk about what the wGA proposal was and it

basically is only a fraction of what they're what they're asking for is only a fraction of the

revenues that are brought in by major companies like disney and netflix and warner brothers

discovery and paramount Discovery and Paramount Global

and NBC Universal.

So I, uh, I'm very curious to see if this is actually real because I'll give everybody

an idea here.

And again, we're working on trying to get Roger up.

But, um, so Netflix, right, this W.A.

proposal, the Writers Guild, uh, Association, this W-A-G-WGA proposal, the W-G-G-G-A proposal, the Writers Guild Association,

they have asked, whatever they've asked for is going to be $65 million to Netflix.

And how much does Netflix bring in?

$31.6 billion.

Disney, $72 million this would cost them to $1.6 billion. Disney, $72 million, this would cost them to basically end the strike, and they bring in $82.7 billion.

Apple, okay?

This would cost Apple $17 million, and Apple brings in almost $400 billion. So I don't get it. I don't get it.

I don't get what is keeping everyone up. I don't get what is literally keeping this negotiations.
