David Crosby passed away yesterday, and he was one of our great rock and roll stars from Crosby Stolt and

Nash and the birds. I'm sure you were a fan. Well, I wasn't the biggest. So many people are fans.

Listen, obviously he was great. And I'll give him credit for the way he drank and did whatever he did and all this

stuff.

For him to get to 81 is like a normal person getting to 101.

Well, you know, my sources say he died of COVID.

So it wasn't anything else that did it.

And maybe it was the comorbidities that he had he had a liver

transplant at one point um but you know he leaves an enormous legacy uh crosbie stills in ash

are just a beautiful sound in folk music and pop music uh they really changed things i remember

being a kid in 1969 and getting that first

Crosby stills in Nash album and just putting from the first note, you just went, oh my, what is this?

It's so wonderful. And before that, he had been with the birds.

Well, no, wait. Wasn't he the founder of both groups?

Founder of both groups.

And he, with the birds, made Bob Dylan really a commercial star by recording Mr.

Tambourine Man.

Because up to that point, Bob Dylan was a folk singer.

He was very admired.

But Mr. Tambourine Man crossed him over onto pop radio, and that changed everything for everybody.

And that was really because of David Cosby.
