Can you believe this talk of a government shutdown again?

Why did this happen?

Well, you know, we only have a couple vote margin in the House and the Senate.

Anything can happen.

And I think to a certain extent, Democrats are going to take any issue they can to embarrass the president.

I think to a certain extent, they need to resolve this and resolve this quick.

If you go through another couple weeks of shutdown, it looks like the president doesn't know what he's doing, doesn't know, and he's now in a position where he's got to be pretty much perfect in everything he does from the

foreseeable future.

Wow.

One of the concerns I have is I went to Iowa in the head in a small crowd, 700 people,

and it's got all, he was supposed to message about economy and how good things are.

And, you know, he always gets distracted.

He needs a script in his head, not necessarily script on a teleprompter. But this is what I'm going to talk about. I'm not going to talk about ICE. I'm not going to talk about Ukraine. Not going to talk about Iran. I'm going to talk about the American public and all the things that we have done he can do for the American public.

That's what people want to hear.

He does that.

And these trips are worthwhile.

If he doesn't do this, it's a small crowd.

You go out there and you have bigger crowds in the opposition.

It's not a productive use of this time.
