Hey, when that outdoor dining started, it was beautiful. It was like Paris, some tables outside.

Then they started building these sheds, and look, they were eating in an outhouse.

What is the latest? Are they actually restaurants now want to get rid of those sheds?

Well, as I wrote today in the Post, and it's also on the NYPost.com,

a good number of prominent Manhattan restaurants that had sheds in the street have either

taken them down or are in the process of taking them down or going to take them down

because they decided that they realize that nobody wants them anymore

and um you know covid's long ago in terms of its danger phase um the sheds are hard to maintain

they get hit by cars they you know vagrants and rats move in overnight people have sex i mean all

this disgusting stuff.

And so why keep them up?

So the places that have taken them down, and this is just a partial list,

talking about some major league restaurants here,

Keen Steakhouse on West 36th Street,

one of the most famous older restaurants in New York.
