Well, Steve Kuzzo is the great columnist writer for The New York Post, covers real estate, restaurants better than anybody.

I'm hot like everybody.

Yeah.

For everybody that didn't like this weekend of the heat and all that, this is Florida, six months of the year.

You better think about that before. It's like living inside a wet sock, right? Now, explain New York to us. Everybody says, no, nobody's back. The offices and everything's empty. It's empty. So why the congestion in traffic? And why are the restaurants packed? Because everybody hasn't left. First of all there are a lot of tourists here so certainly in midtown and you know areas like

soho you're going to see a lot more people on the street than you might otherwise because

again there are so many tourists which can mean people from uh you know uh from zanzibar

and it can mean people from New Jersey.

But the truth is that most of the people who left the city, 2020, maybe early 21, came back.

As far as the offices go.

Now, we know that the offices aren't as full as they should be as they want to be,

but they're a lot more full than

some of the news coverage makes it seem.

We had a story in the post one day last week about a place, I don't remember, where exactly,

but a place in the, I think, in the 20s, West 20s in an area with a lot of offices where

it's a fast, casual place,

and you have to wait a half hour to get your food.

And this is midday at lunchtime, which means these are people who work there.

So there are more people here than some people believe.
