Great column about Joe Biden's very rough stretch he's just been through. You got the debate coming up.

Are you amazed at a lot of big smart Democrats running this thing and how badly he's stumbled the last few weeks?

Well, I think he looks, obviously he's weak and diminished in many ways, but I think he's over-scheduled also.

I mean, this thing of going to Europe twice in June.

Now, obviously, in hindsight, it was designed to be around for the hunter-byden part of the trial and the verdict

but why why not go a few more days stay and stay in europe a few days otherwise because this

round trip first for d-day in france and then to italy for the theDay in France and then to Italy for the G7.

And then he's flying across the country.

I mean, there was some story that said his first stop after coming from Italy will be California.

That's not how you fly to Europe.

And, of course, there's lots of campaign travel.

So the idea that, you know, June was going to be this make-or-break month for him

in terms of trying to get his numbers up to have a good convention

to stop the talk that he should get off the ticket. I think, you know, the challenge to Trump

for the debate was very much about saving his own skin. So I don't know why that they'd scheduled it this way because he just looks terrible.

And you have him in these events where he freezes, gets lost, mumbles, stumbles. I mean,

why didn't you plan it better if you really thought this debate was going to be important. Now, look,
