Great column on Sunday about, is it possible Joe Biden could just out and out turn on Israel?

Well, I have to say, even since I wrote that column, the evidence is piling in that the answer is yes, yes, yes.

There are reports now that he's going to the Security Council with the United Nations, no friend of Israel's,

of course, and proposing a ceasefire in Gaza. Now, Hamas would have to release the hostages, but the real aim seems to be to stop the Israelis from going into Rafa

and finishing the elimination of Hamas.

So, of course, this temporary ceasefire would quickly morph into a permanent one,

according to the European Union and everybody else who's been pushing it.

Apparently 19 of the 20 European Union nations are demanding a ceasefire.

Only Hungary seems to be the outlier, which is kind of strange in its own way.

But there is this movement to basically require Israel to stop before it finishes

and therefore leave Hamas intact in some way

and naturally the the reason put forth is to protect the civilians in Gaza, which just underscores Hamas's

tactic of using civilians as human shields and effectively rewards them for it.

So, yes, I think Biden is betraying Israel.

I think we're getting closer and closer to, as I wrote on Sunday, inching toward it.
