Hey, how do you scare people?

Oh, government shutdown. You're trying to scare him.

We've been through 57 government shutdown.

It just got shut down for two days over the weekend.

What do we care if it shuts down?

Well, I think there's some argument for that that it sort of gets everyone's attention and focuses

on the problem and maybe you make a little progress but on the other hand I think in general

and these are not to be feared in and of themselves I mean the government will be fine

everyone will get paid some will be delayed but everyone will get paid

but i think the

the problem for republicans in this particular situation

is that it's a it's a tiny minority

of their very slim majority

that's doing this

and at some point you have to surrender to the math.
