So, listen, we all know about Alvin Bragg, but it looks like not only they drum up some charge, he picked. The people are saying he picked this judge, the biggest Trump-aiding judge.

Do you think normal, old-fashioned good Democrats that even they're appalled by all of this?

Well, look, within the court system, I think it's probably fairly common that prosecutors and even defense attorneys, you know, they go judge shopping.

They'll look for the judge they think is most favorable.

My knowledge of these sorts of things is somewhat limited, but it's not so much a cozy

relationship that they generally count on.

It's about just sort of knowing the tendencies and the biases of the judge.

I mean, some judges are obviously more pro-prosecutor and others are more pro-defendant.

And, you know, there are occasional serious conflicts of interest where a judge may have

a friendship with the defense lawyer, for example, and the defense lawyer will try to steer

a case that way.

So I'm not surprised that Bragg has a judge, had a judge

in mind as he worked on the case. I mean, that's probably part of his calculation. Look,

I know I'm going to get a lot of heat, but I think if I get in front of this judge, blah, blah,

blah. I mean, so it shouldn't happen, but it is a reality of life in the court system.

It's amazing, though, that when Bragg was campaigning to get elected, he said, I'm going to get Trump.

I'm going to go after Trump. It's amazing. You can't go somewhere and show that to another judge and say,

you've got to move this to a different venue instead of depending on this

judge that hates him to allow it to be moved it's a big problem well well you're right and

thankfully there's an appeals court system that allows you and it's expensive i mean i think one of

the things that prosecutors count on is it for for them, it's all free, right?

It's not coming out of their pocket.
