Michael Goodwin. How you doing? Good morning, Mark. Thank you. Well, a year ago, I knew we would be

doing this today. Did you? I think you had your doubts here and there. Oh, yes, I did. I'm proud of

those doubts, you know. I think reality intruded, and thankfully.

But look, I mean, it is a remarkable moment when you think back to primarily the end of Trump's first term.

I mean, January 6th, of course, was not a good day, no matter

whether, you know, anyone thinks that it's an insurrection or not. I mean, it certainly wasn't

a good day for the country or for him. And I thought that, plus just his age and all the drama, that the Republicans would move on.

But he refused to move on.

And against, I think, a lot of odds, here he is.

And it is remarkable how the attitude has changed of so many people,

that all of that resistance, all of that Russia collusion, the pink pussy hats, I mean, none of that,

I mean, you still see it at the New York Times, of course, but otherwise, the country is

ready by and large for a change from the Biden-Harris debacle.

And so Trump is clearly, I think, in the most popular position he's ever been in.

White House insiders say this final weekend Joe Biden was very angry.
