Good morning, Mark. Thank you.

Hey, before we get to the mayoral race, President Trump, Iran, that uh incredible uh successful bombing mission what do you think look i this is a huge event and i support it in part mark

because of i think president trump was so deliberate.

And in reaching this conclusion, he clearly did not want to go this route.

He talked about it during the campaign, but once he took office and that invitation,

that letter he wrote to the Ayatollah offering to restart negotiations.

Remember how upset Netanyahu was that he thought it was too late, it would never work?

But Trump clearly preferred to do a negotiated settlement rather than use the military.

And he wrote that letter, he said, this is not an open-ended conversation. We're going to do it for two months.

And after two months, either you've agreed to dismantle the nuclear facilities or we will do it for you. And it was a very clear thing. In the end,

it lasted three months. They had five or six meetings with Steve Whitkoff being the president's

negotiator, and nothing came of it.

And Whitkoff concluded they were not serious about a negotiation center.

They were just trying to run out the clock.
