thank you uh and you're a former columbia university students so this must really hurt don't tell anybody

what the hell happened to columbian barnard well uh they've gone to the dogs.

Look, I mean, the riots there, the encampments, the take over, the disruptions, the harassment.

It's shocking, Mark, how the presidents of these institutions and others did nothing about it. I mean, they negotiate,

they talk, they write letters, they hold meetings, they make phone calls, but they actually do nothing about it. And so President Trump and the rest of the government are doing something about it.

They're enforcing the law and they're penalizing these schools on the basis of their inaction

to stamp out the anti-Semitism and the harassment of Jewish students.

It's an extraordinary thing that only the money will get the attention of these schools.

That all of the talk, all of the embarrassment, remember when at least DeFonic and the other

Republicans in the hearings, they got rid of the president of Harvard, got rid of the president

of Penn, but nothing

really changed on the campuses or any other campuses. And so the use of the federal dollars for these

schools, for research grants, for basic foundational work.

I mean, these schools bring, or they get a lot of federal money.

I mean, Columbia is apparently got contracts and things that total about $5 billion over several years,

despite having a $15 billion pot of gold that they've collected from alumni and others, an endowment.
