Well, I'm in a good mood because Donald Trump has issued an executive order, which is just what the

public needs to have more confidence in our election integrity.

Now, it's an executive order.

What will it take to make this reality in every state to enforce it?

Well, we have a delicate balance we have to strike between the Constitution, which lodges primary responsibility for conducting elections with the states and counties,

and the federal government, which I think has the right and the duty, frankly, to set some

minimum standards. I think most of Trump's executive order will pass muster. Some of it is going

to be contested. The most important part of it is this.

Federal law already says that this is in the wake of the Bush v.

Gore recount a quarter century ago.
