What a column yesterday about Eric Adams.

Now, we know not the greatest genius in the world, not the greatest executive we've ever seen.

But how did he get

so stumped over a few thousand migrants and where to put them? That's a really good question.

It's almost like he didn't see the whole picture in that there's no limit to the migrants.

I mean, the border is open.

More than 4 million people have come to the United States across the Mexican border under Joe Biden's presidency.

And so the idea that you could just take a handful

and be a good guy and do your sanctuary city thing

and try to be some kind of a humanitarian example

flies in the face of the facts that why wouldn't more of them come?

Look, I think even without the Republican governors sending several thousand, it seems.

There are roughly 17,000 here now, the city says.

So a lot of them were making their way here without any help.

I mean, they were perhaps coming across the border.

One of the charities, once they're processed by the border control,

one of the charities puts them on a bus or says to them, where do you want to go?
