Yeah. Hey, what the hell happened Tuesday night? This doesn't look good for New York crime-wise,

does it? We're stuck with this no bail, no jail stuff?

Well, the no-bail, no jail is horrific in New York.

You know, I'm obviously biased toward the system we have in New Jersey from when I was on

the bench where the judge is allowed to evaluate the dangerousness of the defendant.

In New York, the judge is not allowed to make that evaluation.

If the crime did not break a bone or impair the use of an organ on the victim,

then automatically no bail.

No matter what the criminal record is, this is horrendous.

The criminals actually have a code phrase that they use when they're being arrested to

I'm not going to believe this if you must you know it, to taunt the police.

So the guy's getting arrested, the person being arrested looks right in the cop's face

and goes, easy pass, easy pass easy pass which is
