Hey, Mark, how are you doing?

Hey, you got so many columns. Let's start with Madison Square

Garden. What is going on with MSG, Madison Square Garden? Well, it was a big day in the, you know,

there's a big controversy dispute war that's been going on for years about the Dolans who own

the garden, how long they should be allowed to operate the garden

there.

And their license or permit is, which they've held for over 50 years, it's up this month,

next week or two.

I forget the date.

And so it's up to the city council, which has the ultimate power over

these things, to decide how long to renew the garden's contract to continue staying there.

And so there are a lot of people, architects, designers, many elected officials who want the garden not to stay there at all.

They want it to move because it sits on top of Penn Station, as we know.

And a lot of people believe that as long as it sits on top of Penn Station, you can't really

improve Penn Station in a meaningful way

it's just you know sort of like monster that sits on top of it suffocating it and so

the council today can do one of three things it can say okay you guys can stay there
