Hey, Mark. I'm great. Thank you. Hey, what are you hearing about this congestion pricing?

They say it's on hold, but November 6th, is that when it's back right after the election?

Well, can you hear me, by the way? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, okay, right.

I think it's, I certainly hope it's on permanent hold. I hope it's, you know, very deep under the ocean because it would have been a disaster for New York City.

And I applaud Governor Hockel for making taking this really courageous step.

A lot of people, you know, who hate cars and who are on the sort of woke side of things,

hate her for this decision.

And of course, so does the MTA.

And in fairness to the MTA, and Chairman General Lieber, nobody saw this coming until yesterday morning.

Everyone believed whether they liked the idea or not that she was going to allow congestion pricing to take effect by the end of this month.

And it's not clear why she took this action.

There are some cynics who say that she's worried about the re-election of Democratic

legislators who endorsed it.

As we know, this plan is enormously unpopular in and around New York City for multiple reasons.

Maybe she's worried about her own political future. But look, every political action is complex.

Decisions are made, good decisions are made for bad reasons. Bad decisions are made for

what seemed like good reasons. And in this case, I don't care. She did the right thing, and we should

all be glad for it. But let's wait until November 6th and see if they start taking down those

gantries from... And they're going to cost a lot of money yeah they it was a story somewhere today i
