Well, John Fund, one of the great journalists in America,

great columnist of Wall Street Journal, National Review,

and he's got an excellent book called Our Broken Elections,

the best book on the subject.

And he's with us right now.

John Fund, how you doing?

Well, Mark mark until yesterday i didn't think we were going to have election day i thought we were going to have election

week yeah in which the results would come in very slowly and trickle in now i'm just leaning, towards the fact that by 4 a.m.

on Wednesday morning, we may have a winner.

Really? And what changed your thinking?

Well, talk about a topsy-turvy election.

The early vote has come out, but in key democratic areas in state after state,

people are staying home or they're delaying their vote. And remember, 40% of people in America

don't vote for president. It's the easiest thing they can do just to do nothing. And Kamala

Harris is weaker among African Americans, Asians, and Latinos.

So she doesn't have to lose a lot of votes to Donald Trump. She just has to lose some and have other people just stay home because they're not enthused about her.

And Donald Trump has a will have an historic showing among minority voters.

And the female vote is coming out, but not in such overwhelming numbers, nor in such

overwhelming margins that I think it affects things.

Plus, I mean, let's talk about the bad week that she had.
