you doing very good thanks for having me mark hey i'm watching the morning jo apparently uh the whole

economy is uh in ruins uh we're on the brink of recession the inflation numbers came out it's disaster

what's the real story so yeah we're not anywhere near

on the brink of a recession uh in in fact the numbers that came out yesterday yes inflation picked up

and that's not great uh mostly it's gasoline uh because of the of her moose. But the thing that's really

striking about it is that it hasn't actually taken away from spending elsewhere in the

economy. One of my fears personally was that because people were having to put so much money

into their gas tanks, that they might start to pull back in other

spending but we're not seeing that the personal they called the personal consumption expenditures

but basically consumer spending really showed that people continue to spend money all across the economy.

And that so far we're actually not seeing as much damage as even, you know,

I'm pretty bullish on this Trump economy,

but this was better than I thought it would be.

You know, I'm not surprised, you know, Morning Joe, the rest of it.

I saw a poll recently, 55% of Democrats think we're already in a recession. So, of course, you know, like, you're going to see that kind of stuff in the legacy media. Yeah. Well, it's like when you read, New York is finished, everybody's left. I'm looking at the housing numbers. Rentals are up through the roof.
