popular county executive, and she's a nice person, quite frankly.

But I think she was on the wrong side of issues.

She vetoed a bill that would protect police officers and give them the same protection as ordinary citizens.

Originally, she said that she would not rule out defunding the police. And she

reassessed the county in such a way that basically people who had two identical houses

were paying a 40% difference in their tax bill. So while people liked her, they were very unhappy with her

leadership. That and also the fact that her running mate, Todd Kiminski, a state senator,

was the co-author of the bail reform bill, which is very unpopular because it's made our state less state. So I think that and the fact that

there was a red wave, people were fed up with the way that the Democratic Party was going so far

to the left that they look like a socialist party. I think when you take all those factors and put them together, I think that's the reason
