Hey, Mark, I am doing well. I kind of like the president's new proposal about not

taxing social security benefits. I just wrote a piece for Fox News.com on this that just posted.

And you and I haven't had a chance to, you know,

chat about this because the president just, you know,

tweeted this out yesterday.

But I like it.

It's something that is interesting because I had some discussions with him, you know, a few months ago where he had, he had, you know, put forward this idea.

And, you know, I just said, well, I hadn't really thought a lot about it, but, you know, I would give it some, you know, thought.

And then, what was it yesterday, we see this tweet coming out. And what it shows is that Trump doesn't have to rely on all this, you know, menagerie of, of, you know, advisors. He comes up with these ideas himself. And I think it's kind of brilliant. You know, it's going to encourage seniors to work more. We need, you know, all hands on deck. We need as many workers as we can in this country.

So I think it's a great idea.

Yeah.

Now, the other thing is like the estate tax.

This is money that you've earned. It's already been taxed. Exactly. Already paid tax. That's right. So that's true of Social Security money. You've already paid tax on this money. Exactly. you pay tax on it when you put into the system you know it's crazy system think about this folks

you pay in all this money you know you pay 12 and a half percent of every paycheck you get from the time you're 19 years old to the time you retire at, say, 65 or 66. Every paycheck, you know, 12 and a half percent goes into this black hole with Social Security Lord knows what they 12% Yeah, well, 6.5% is paid,

6.5% is paid by you.

Yeah.

And 6.5% is security lawyers really 12% money yeah well six and a half percent is paid six and a half percent is paid by you yeah and six and a half percent is paid by your employer so it but that money comes

right out of your paycheck right i mean it's just the the pay the employer sends it on your

behalf so you have if you and think about this if you had just taken that 12 and a half percent
