hey mark i'm doing really well i think you know the economy is doing really well too it's been an

amazing uh amazing last couple of months.

We got a really good inflation report yesterday.

You know, all the doubters who said that, you know, Trump's policies were going to cause

higher prices.

We're now 2 to 2.5% inflation, which is very close to that Fed target.

We got a record number of Americans working.

We have a good stock market. Remember two months ago I was standing on the ledge ready to jump, remember? And now I'm feeling a lot better about things. Well, obviously, you don't watch MSNBC. The whole economy is on a cliff. It's going to grow. Yeah, they're still saying it's going to collapse.

Look, part of this is due to the fact that Trump has gotten some of these trade deals and backed off some of the, you know, the really high tariffs he was talking about, which really did frighten everybody. but part of it is just, you know, it looks very good that we're going to get this tax cut done, although I hate to say this, Mark, but it doesn't look like we're going to have a bill setting ceremony on the 4th of July.

Really? Really? I mean, this is taking longer than hoped. And, you know, if these are like teenagers, Congress, they always wait to the last minute to get things done. Like, you know, the teenager waits the last night to write as a senior thesis.

So it's going to take a little while, but it's going to get done. You really don't think we can get it done in three weeks? I doubt it. Really? Oh. I hope I'm wrong. I hope you're right, Mark, and I'm wrong because I'd love to see a bill signing. The faster we can get this done, the faster the economy will really start to digest the tax

cuts and they'll see more investment, more consumer spending, more foreign investment coming

in the United States because we'll have lower tax rates.

So it's a good bill.
