Hi, Gary Steerman. Time for another Prophecy Watchers update and in studio with me today, Dr. Mark Hitchcock.

He's a pastor at a wonderful church and tell everybody about your church and your pastorate and your interests

because we're going to be talking about Mark's latest book. It's called Can We Still Believe in the Rapture, plus some other things?

Yes, I've been the pastor at Faith Bible Church in Edmund, Oklahoma. This next fall will be 27 years.

Wow.

My wife and I've been there and raised our boys there. It's a great place, great church, wonderful people there.

They've just been a blessing to us all these years. And you teach the Bible? We teach the Bible. Yes, right now we're going through the book of Nehemiah, so we take books of the Bible. I'll do a little topical studies here and there, but we go through books of the Bible a lot, so we're looking at Nehemiah, which is really fascinating right now. I was just thinking the other day, you know, Nehemiah in 444 BC was rebuilding Jerusalem.

And all these opponents that didn't want him doing it, you know, Sandballot, Tobiah.

Oh yeah.

And here we have now today on the news is Jerusalem. You know, Jerusalem's named the capital, you

know, of Israel. And you've got President Trump's moved the embassy there and you have all the enemies

and opponents coming out. So here we are 2400 years later.

Some things never changed.

Same thing.

So the Bible's pretty up to date, you know.

It is indeed.

Mark has written this book, can we still believe in the rapture?

And you say to yourself, what? Another rapture book? Who needs

that? Well, this is not just another rapture book. This is answering specific arguments that

have come up just recently. This is kind of an ongoing debate. And you have to sort of freshen

your defense of the rapture as time goes by.

And I think you've done a great job in this book.
