All right, so my wife is a home birth midwife.

All right.

And she's got a million, you know, amazing stories, but they usually don't involve me.

And if I remember it correctly, she arrived at a birth at someone's house, and either their

furnace went out or their pipes broke.

It was the middle of winter

and so she gives me a quick call says get ready i'm bringing a a lady home oh get the daughter's bed

ready so i wasn't sure exactly what to do i grab some painters plastic and put it on the bed

kind of got locked and loaded and then these strangers show up,

and they are about ready to have a baby.

So I gave the dad a couple beers and then kind of let it roll.

And we had a baby in my daughter's bedroom,

and it was memorable because it was a very vociferous affair.
