Today on Roon soup we speak to philosopher, publisher and author of, among other things,

the secret history of the world and the sacred history of the world, Mark Booth, aka Jonathan Black.

So we have a traditional question we begin with, Mark,

which was, were you a weird kid? I was a weird rather

solitary kid and I did have sort of mystical and supernatural experiences and I remember being in my in my bedroom and in it's rich and having this this mystical experience and

filling up a whole whole kind of school notebook with with words and images and then as I grew older I

remember kind of feeling feeling presences in nature I used to like to go on long walks by myself

in the countryside around there and then as I got a bit older I was conscious of that of that visionary green fading so I actually

started to take LSD in my late teens consciously trying to pull that back.

And when you say consciously were you, I mean were you doing some sort of

teenage ritual and in that respect or was it try I mean when it was me I would try and

get a little bit of time alone in an otherwise recreational environment and then eventually I would get distracted and go and join the rest of the party.

Well I think I think any kind of attempt to any kind of formal spiritual practice to contact

I beings came later it was really just trying to get the vision back and it was more

experiential than theoretical at that point. But I do have, you say where you're a weird child, I do have a theory

that I expound in the sacred history. that we live by a polite fiction that we all share the same form of consciousness and that helps us to to kind of
