In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, the deep in your understanding of God's word, and that heightens

your awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, God is good. We know this, right? And he gives good gifts

to his children. He blesses us even when we're unaware. But what if you became more aware? What if you

learn to flip the blessing by blessing others in the very same way God has blessed you. Well, my guest today writes this. God is in the

blessing business. And because you are his child, blessing is your birthright. The problem is that

blessings aren't always easy to quantify or qualify. Some are as simple and straightforward as a

sunrise. Others are more difficult to discern, such as blessings of brokenness. The question is,

do you believe it?

Because you've got to position yourself to receive it. I'm so honored to talk to one of my favorite

guest, Mark Batterson. He's written a great new book. It's titled Double Blessing, How to Get It,

and How to Give It? Let me tell you about him. He doesn't really need an introduction, but I'll give

him a proper introduction. Anyway, Mark Batterson's a New York time bestselling author of 17 books. He's the lead pastor of National Community Church,
