It was a special night for the Dallas Mavericks and the fans as Mark Aguars number 24 jersey goes up in the rafters.

I'm going to talk all about that and his place in Mavs history.

Back from the AAC. had a special special night in the american airline center as the mavericks had a fun game mav's hornets con canipple versus cooper flag that was a lot of fun

but it was about market choir for the most part. I get that we don't

do a lot of history stuff on this podcast or MAV's history stuff, but I love some basketball

history and I love looking back at MAVS history. And if you're a newer MAVs fan, if you're a fan out there, like, man, I don't really, like,

I know Mark McGuire was like a legend.

I know his jersey went up in the rafters, but I don't know much about him.

Why was this important?

Then here is 15 minutes that I'm going to briefly explain a little bit or talk through some

1980s Mavericks, some Mark Aguire, Roe Blackman, Derek Harper days. And yeah, because I think it was

a really, really special night. I really enjoyed it. Just personally, professionally, I've got to be in the

building for three of the five jerseys up in the rafters with Harper, Dirk, and now

Aguire, and Roe Blackman and Brad Davis was a little before my time as far as their jerseys.

But when you look back at the Mavericks

and the Mavericks through in history, right? Like I feel like you almost got to do like before

Dirk and after Dirk. Dirk is the is is the Maverick, right? Like I mean, he won the only title in

2011. So many of us, Mavs fans have been huge
