Summary

Marissa Alexander is a survivor. She got a 20 year prison sentence and did three. She’s a woman of steel who was pushed to her breaking point in prison but she survived. Marissa’s story is one of those that I covered when I was at MSNBC and I thought of Marissa as a symbol of modern racial injustice. I didn’t think she would get out of prison early.
