Hey, good morning. I'm Paige Browning. It's Thursday. This is Seattle now. It's 2025. And a new year means a new job for one of the longest tenured members of the Seattle Mariners.

Not on the field, but in the broadcast booth.

After 18 years, Mariners TV broadcaster Dave Sims is heading home to call games in the Bronx for the New York Yankees.

He's here today to reflect on his time in Seattle and some of his most iconic

City Council opens tonight at eight and closes

in a week. The chosen person will be taking over council member Tammy Morales' seat. She announced

her resignation last month, citing a toxic work environment. The council has until January 27th to fill

the seat. If you notice a lot more traffic on the roads this morning, that will

likely be the new normal. Amazon's return to office policy begins today. Employees are required to

work in office five days a week. CEO Andy Jassy says the policy will improve the company's culture.

A September survey from tech social media app blind
