a bit of a slog, and so we thought we'd get a little bit of light relief

from two of the Guardian's most beloved columnists, Marina Hyde and John Crais.

But it's not been a barrel of laughs for them either.

Just this week I had the most extraordinary email trail just to get into one event at lunchtime.

I got an email saying, you have been accredited but we're not going to give you the

location until six o'clock the next morning I kind of waited till seven and at

seven o'clock they got an email saying it's going to be near

Milton Keynes so that was good so that meant I could buy a train ticket but we're not

going to give you the exact location of where near Milton Keynes till later, so it was like four hoops to jump through.
