By the end of the day, she's so shaky with exhaustion, it starts to feel like adrenaline.

She's been starting her days with private sessions with the acting guru Lee Strasbourg.

He takes a strict approach to acting.

You can't act unless you feel the scene.

Dig deep into your past. And then in the evenings, she trundles from Lee's

apartment to her psychotherapist on the upper east side. Lee recommends that everyone

who's serious about method acting also pursue therapy.

And Marilyn is very, very serious.

So she visits Dr. Margaret Hohenburg five times a week.
