to my phone to my tweets to everything when I had Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi itself was also very spotty. So every once in a while when my phone would just happen to find the Wi-Fi signal that it would you know connect to I would get this barrage of texts and tweets that I missed and one time it just

was a link to a tweet that was like eat pre love authors next chapter another woman and I like

I thought that was really funny because I couldn't load the story itself but when you dial into the story it's really sad. So Raya Elias is Elizabeth Gilbert author of eat pre love whom we've talked about in the podcast before recently divorced from her eat pre love husband.

Recently a soul to drink at store. Yes it's her new girlfriend and best friend. Best friend turned girlfriend. Best friend turned girlfriend. Um Elizabeth Gilbert was like not only do I love my best friend.

I love my best friend. I'm like sexually and everyone's like what although are you truly surprised this is a woman whose entire career is made out of like a book where she decides that she doesn't want to be with one guy a boring guy for like a cool young guy. So like this is kind of her ammo right just.

She's constantly looking for love she's constantly she's open to love so this is not surprising but it's very very sad because the events leading up to this.

Yeah tragic.

Well it's sad because this woman who she loves her best friend has not one but two cancers.

And there's like she has pancreatic cancer number one which is as we all know is terrible.

Um and kills you quickly and devastatingly and there are like no good treatments for it. So she has pancreatic cancer and what liver cancer?

Yeah. Um but you know per usual the the celebrity gossip cycle soldiers on and people magazine very quickly.
