When this week that's just ended began it was pretty rough out there

Think back way back all the way through the midst of time, back to

to last Monday and how things were. I mean, we had just lost Taylor Hawkins, drummer for the Foo Fighters, only 50 years old.

Joe Biden was catching hell for his speech in Warsaw because he voiced his personal opinions that Vladimir Putin couldn't be allowed to stay in power.

Yes, we've gone from four years of a president never getting in trouble for lying to a president getting in trouble for telling the truth.

We saw Donald Trump somehow managed to lose seven and a half hours of phone records the exact time

that the terrorist attack was waged on our capital.

Somewhere at hell, Nixon is like,

God damn it, I caught hell for only 18 minutes.

Ron DeSantis in Florida signed the Don't Say Gay Law,

which is even uglier than it sounds and of course the week

began with an Oscar ceremony that was supposed to be a joyful celebration

for the the deaf and disabled community the first deaf male actor to win an Oscar, the first queer woman of color to win an Oscar,

all shadowed, all overshadowed by a stupid act of violence and now of course you know more people have heard about the slap than have heard about the war in Ukraine as of now. I mean

As we come to you it's just been announced that Will Smith has resigned from the

Academy so take that no more screeners for you.

So after this dreary got off a week it's kind of amazing to end it with so much positive news.
