And it's special because a lot of folks have been asking, where does our democracy go from here?

Especially now with Donald Trump going back into the Oval Office, what do Democrats do now?

What do they have to do to win back the working class people to actually win the White House?

Actually, when in general, what do they have to do?

Well, the head of the Democratic Party will have a lot to say

about that. The head of the DNC will, and some big names have thrown their hats into the ring.

One of them, I believe the biggest is Marianne Williamson, and she joins me now today.

Marion, thank you so much. I appreciate you being on with us today. And how are you, by the way?

I'm great. Thank you. And thank you for having me. I'm glad to be here. Absolutely. So the question is,

what do Democrats need to do to win? Do they need to? I'm curious what you think about. Let's start

with the Harris campaign. What do you think happened? What did she or they do wrong? And then we'll

talk about what Democrats need to do next. Well, I think that the fact that basically there was no

primary sucked all the juice out of the excitement that could have been there. The role of the Democratic Party, like the role of any political party, is to facilitate

democracy, not to try to manipulate it or to engineer it.

The role of the party is to stand in the background.

The role of the voters is to decide who a nominee will be.

And then that's the point when the party should step in and do everything possible to

help that candidate win.

It was very aberrational the way the DNC announced very early that they saw their goal

as helping Joe Biden get the nomination, peripheralizing, de-amplifying, and worse, other campaigns. And so there
