I'm Katie Halper.

And wow, what a week.

This is going to be a difficult show. I predict. What do you think?

I think so. It's going to be hard to talk with the levity that we let

humor levity that we usually have.

Right. We don't know if there are levities actually,

like an allowed emotional thing at the moment.

So right. What we're trying to do for this episode is we have,

we're going to be talking about the protests, the rebellion.

I've heard it referred to those two ways.

Of course, I've heard it referred to as riots, but I think protest and rebellion are better

terms for it. Our guests are going to be talking about that. We'll be talking about that with our

guests. It'll also be a part of today. We have two of them today. Yeah.

It'll also be, and we might as well say who they are, Mary Ann Williamson,

and historian Dr. Gerald Horn. And they're both really amazing in different ways.

There's more overlap than we would expect. Anyway, we're talking about the protests with them,

and we're going to be bringing it up in our Democrats' Suck and Republican Suck. But we also

thought that we would bring in some levity in the, isn't that terrible and isn't that weird.

In terms of talking about the protests, rebellion, whatever we want to call it,

for me, part of this is complicated by the fact that I had a really dislike

talking about things like this, unless I'm seeing with my own eyes what's going on.
