Summary

Margaret Josephs steps Behind The Rope. Margaret is here to chat about her new book, “Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget: How to Survive in Business and Life”. Not so fast Marge, we love you and all, but first we gotta chat about all that was RHONJ Season 11 as we head into the reunion later this week. We chat with Margaret about the Evan “rumor” heard ‘round the world, Teresa and Jackie, the origins of that rumor, and will we get answers at the reunion as to who started this rumor? In other RHONJ news, Margaret weights in on Joe and Melissa - their marriage, how worried is she, or should we be, about their future, and the truth about those “divorce rumors” which seem to be circulating in the press, in part, by Melissa herself. We ask Margaret, "just what is it about Jennifer that annoys you so much (where to begin???), her current Twitter feud with her, and just where does one need to draw the line. Margaret opens up about the men in Teresa’s life, ex-husband Joe Giudice - who is still as much a part of the show as he was in Season One - as well as Luis Ruelas - has she met him, what does she think, has Tre changed as a result of meeting him, is Tre moving too fast, and is she worried based on the recent “press” of his alleged “past”. Of course, we have to address the elephant, or lack thereof, in the room, Danielle Staub and how different is this season without her. We pay homage to the past - The Manzos, Kathy Wakile, Jacqueline Laurita and so on and look ahead to the reunion - what issues is she coming in hot about and does the reunion solve or cause more issues for the RHONJ ladies. Speaking of “Caviar Dreams”, Margaret chats about how the book came about, the writing process and the decision to include topics such as her wild childhood with Marge Sr. as a mom and “sleeping” with her boss. Margaret’s stellar book also includes business advice of how she became “self made” and recovered from financial and legal setbacks to come out the other side, life highlights such as sleeping with a Rock Star and meeting Joan Rivers and just what is next for this Powerhouse In Pigtails. Hey everyone, this is David, welcome back behind the Velvet

Miss Margaret Joseph. Hi, Davie. Excited to be back behind the Velvet

Robes. Nice to see you. It's nice to see you too. I mean, first of all, congrats.

Caviar dreams on a tuna fish budget, Margaret. Thank you. Oh, Bella, Bella says hi to

0:55.0

you, David. Yes, I'm so excited. The book is out. It's doing great. Laboral love, but

1:01.6

thank you. I mean, you're an author like, I know. Like, just take that in. Like, have you

1:08.3

taken that in? You know, I haven't really taken it in because it's been such a whirlwind.

1:13.1

I think I need to just like be like, but I haven't had really a moment to breathe because

1:18.6

it was just like the book was getting written then in editing. It came out so quickly,

1:23.5

promoting it. So it's so exciting. I think when I get a chance to sit back and relax

1:28.1

and think about it, I'll get to take it in. But it's very exciting. And have you slept

1:33.5

because you have been everywhere promoting this book in the last few weeks? No, I have

1:39.3

it. I have not slept at all. I'm physically exhausted, but I'm running on adrenaline.

1:44.5

So it's okay. Well, I have to ask the obvious question before you even get into it. What's

1:49.2

harder writing a book or filming a season of RHO and J? Equal, equal, but we're writing

1:56.3

a book. Maybe filming a season of RHO and J is harder than writing a book. Really? Yeah,

2:02.5

I think so because it's it doesn't end. It doesn't end. The book is therapeutic and

2:08.3

healing. RHO and J is not therapeutic and healing. That is true. In some, in some senses,

2:14.5

it's the opposite of therapeutic and healing. I think. Yes. I mean, though there's always

2:18.5

a closure that there is always a closure. And they're my friends. I was with Dolores

2:22.7

List and I we had she came to support me on my first book signing. Then we went out to
