and advance human rights. Before joining the SPLC, Margaret was Amnesty International USA's Executive Director. She led

campaigns to protect migrants, refugees, torture survivors, gun violence victims, and activists.

Margaret led human rights missions to the U.S.-Mexico border to advocate for asylum seekers and to document abuse.
