And last night,

man the Calgary flames kind of blew that one,

didn't they?

Two points in the bag seemingly,

and then Ottawa pulls their goalie

and they managed to score two goals.

And then they win it in overtime,

despite the best efforts from the flames, who had more than one chance to finish things off.

Derek Wills, who is the play-by-play voice of the Calgary Flames, joins me now.

And you know, Derek, I was putting together my notes for

the show last night watching the game and I the thing that I wrote was this is the

perfect game for Jacob Markstrom this was about I don I don't know, about halfway through the third period.

Didn't face a ton of shots, wasn't super overworked. He had only allowed the one goal, and I said,

this is the game that he needs to get the confidence back and then all of that went to

shambles. I guess the question is what the heck happened last night?
