a few people either DM or text in or just tweet a couple of stories and thoughts on the passing of Peter Klima.

So you and I are in the same vintage in our early 50s and so Peter Klima was right there when we were

14 15 16 years old Jim Lights and Nick Polano able to get him out of Czechoslovakia

by way of Germany.

He defected the first Czechoslovakian player

to defect to a US team that Amanski and Farta

had done so, but to the Toronto Taurus. So this was the first to an American team. He was fast, he was a hell of a player.

We think of the 1990 Stanley Cup final game one.

Wasn't without his problems and his off-ice troubles, but when I say the name Peter Klima, who's passed

away at the age of 58 for all of our listeners, what comes to your mind for each?
