Some sad news back on August 3rd Mike Barnes from the Hollywood reporter let me

know that former guest Shelly Cohen had passed away Shelly was the

assistant musical director for the entire time Johnny hosted the tonight show.

Shelly Cone was a very nice man.

After I interviewed him, we kept in touch, we talked on the phone several times, he sent me books and a CD of his really, really talented nice person, prayers to his family and friends.
