| 1:22.8 | and eventually he reluctantly agrees to let the Israelite slaves go. |
| 1:27.3 | They flee to the desert, led by God and his servant Moses. |
| 1:30.9 | Little by little, God gives these people the basic rules of how to have a stable society. |
| 1:35.7 | All they've ever known is slavery under a cruel dictator. |
| 1:39.1 | They've never seen good leadership demonstrated. |
