This is your last episode of Happy Hour.

Oh, no. For a few weeks. Okay. I thought you were firing me. If anybody fires anybody, it's you firing me because I think you're the boss of this show. I don't know about that. I don't know about that. Co-host responsibilities, you know? Do you want to tell people what's going on, though? Yeah, I'm going to Japan for a holiday.

So I'll be back on the 20th but that unfortunately means that this episode

we're recording early otherwise we would have done it on Thursday like normal and in the next two episodes

i will not be around so you're going to have i I think Zach, right? Correct. Zach is making his

triumphant return. The Zach return. I'm a bit nervous about an episode of happy hour, or I guess two

episodes of Happy Hour, just me and Zach, because we have a tendency to go off the rails a bit.

Like we don't have, like you're kind of the guide of the show.

You make sure we stay on track.

You help us move from topic to topic. Which is funny when I think of you as a person who actually runs the topic. It's a funny relationship. We make it work. But yeah, I haven't missed an episode in a long time, but hey. You deserve it. It's just unfeasible. I mean, quite often I have like weeks on stuff and we just record two episodes the week before or whatever

but in a perfect world, Apple that had done a traditional event on the Monday and we could have just done, you know, the whole event coverage as this week and then whatever.

But Japan time zone is, A, I don't know where I'm going to be, really, like in terms of networking and also the time zone's terrible.

So it's not really feasible to do recording.

But hey, we did a good...

I never really intended to do like eight straight years or whatever it was before,

but it just kind of worked out that way.

Now, we talked about your technology for the trip a bit in plus two weeks ago, I think.

Do you want to give a quick primer refresher of what your tech haul, your tech packing is now that you're locked and loaded for

your flight? Yeah, it's pretty similar to what I spoke about in plus. I've just basically got like,

I've only taken an iPad really because I'm not playing doing any work. It doesn't, I don't need to worry about my laptop, so I can stay at home. Take an iPad, iPhone Air with MagSafe Battery Pack and AirPods. And I've actually since, I think the last, since the last recording, I've bought a pair of earpods as well, the wide ones. Oh, yeah. Just in case, because I'm thinking about sleeping on the flight. and I'm just worried that I'll be asleep in, like, the AirPods will thwart my ears or something,
