These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles.

So we're reading in chronological order. We're a weekend. So that means we're reading the Gospels stories from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John as they happened, not based on which author wrote them down.

So this means that you are definitely going to want to have the reading plan to read along with us so that you can know all the places we jump around to.

So today is March 7th, day seven, and I will be reading Mark 3, 7 through 19, Luke 6, 12 to 16, Matthew 5, 1 through 12, Luke 6, 17 to 26, Matthew 5, 13 to 48, Luke 6, 27 to 36,

and Matthew 6 verses 1 through 34. Today we are seeing Jesus call his disciples apostles and the start of the sermon on the Mount from multiple points of view. It is fascinating.

You guys to see which writers wrote down which part. So we're jumping back and forth between Matthew and Luke today and the translation I'm reading from this month is the new living translation.

This is day seven and chronological order. Crowds follow Jesus. Jesus went out to the lake with his disciples and a large crowd followed him. They came from all over Galilee, Judea, Jerusalem, IDMEA from east of the Jordan River and even from his far north is tired and siden.

The news about his miracles had spread far and wide and vast numbers of people came to see him. Jesus instructed his disciples to have a boat ready so the crowd would not crush him.

He had healed many people that day so all the sick people eagerly pushed forward to touch him. And whenever those possessed by evil spirits caught sight of him, the spirits would throw them to the ground in front of him shrieking you are the son of God.

But Jesus sternly commanded the spirits not to reveal who he was. Jesus chooses the 12 apostles from Mark.

After where Jesus went up on a mountain and called out the ones he wanted to go with him and they came to him. Then he appointed 12 of them and called them his apostles.

They were to accompany him and he would send them out to preach giving them authority to cast out demons. These are the 12 he chose Simon whom he named Peter. James and John the sons of Zebedee but Jesus nicknamed them sons of thunder.

Andrew Philip Bartholomew Matthew Thomas James son of Alphius Thaddeus Simon the zealot Judas Iscariot who later betrayed him from Luke.

One day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray and he prayed to God all night. A day break he called together all of his disciples and chose 12 of them to be apostles. Here are their names.

Simon whom he named Peter Andrew Peter's brother James John Philip Bartholomew Matthew Thomas James son of Alphius Simon who was called the zealot Judas son of James Judas Iscariot who later betrayed him.

The sermon on the mount one day as he saw the crowds gathering Jesus went up on the mountain side and sat down his disciples gathered around him and he began to teach them.

The be attitudes from Matthew God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him for the kingdom of heaven is theirs God blesses those who mourn for they will be comforted God blesses those who are humble for they will inherit the whole earth.

God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice for they will be satisfied God blesses those who are merciful for they will be shown mercy God blesses those whose hearts are pure for they will see God.
