Now let's go back to New Haven, Connecticut on March 4th, 2011.

After years of gathering clues, tracing patterns, and criminal profiling, everything had come down to this moment.

Police had traced Aaron Thomas to his home. Also known as the East Coast rapist, Thomas was responsible for assaulting

numerous women across multiple states. When they finally surrounded Thomas and got him in cuffs,

he didn't resist. Instead, he asked the authorities why it had taken them so long to find him.

There were multiple answers to this question.
