So, Randall, I got a notice in the forums about somebody posting that our guest last week, John Potash, made a mistake about which TV show John Lennon guest hosted.

And therefore, everything he said should be ignored.

Okay.

You see, it was either Mike Douglas or Merv Griffin,

but those of us who look at this 30, 40 years later, say,

what was the difference?

I guess.

I didn't even know that John Lennon actually hosted a talk show, you know.

I did know that he had a UFO sighting, you know, over the East River, and that's very well documented.

You can even see him talking about it on video.

So, you know, why should we dismiss that simply because maybe Podash got the name of the show wrong or something like that?

As I said, over time, they blur together.

These were miscellaneous talk shows, kind of homogenized versions of what used to be the

Tonight Show, but during the daytime.

And, you know, I know the difference between Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin.

As a practical matter, it didn't matter that much.

They were basically the same sort of shows.
