2:04.0 | Everything we are reading today is about John the Baptist and Jesus' temptation and the wilderness. So you're going to hear all the accounts of those two really important parts of the Gospels. |

2:22.0 | This is day 3 in chronological order. Jesus speaks with the teachers. |
2:28.0 | Every year, Jesus' parents went to Jerusalem for the Passover festival. When Jesus was 12 years old, they attended the festival as usual. |
2:36.0 | After the celebration was over, they started home to Nazareth, but Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents didn't miss him at first because they assumed he was among the other travelers. |
2:46.0 | But when he didn't show up that evening, they started looking for him among the relatives and friends. When they couldn't find him, they went back to Jerusalem to search for him there. |
2:55.0 | Three days later, they finally discovered him in the temples sitting among the religious teachers listening to them and asking questions. All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. |
3:06.0 | His parents didn't know what to think. Son, his mother said to him, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been frantic searching for you everywhere. |
