That reason is, well, freedom. We are going to celebrate freedom today, and we're going to explain why in just a moment.

Before I give you what I like to do with the start of all of my local shows here in Cleveland, Ohio.

And I started doing this in response to the Democrats in various House committees who refused to allow the pledge of allegiance to be recited at the start of those committee meetings. They say it's just too much.

We don't need to say the pledge all the time. We said at the start of the day, we don't need to say at the start of various hearings and meetings and these kinds of things.

And to that, I say hogwash. Let's listen and take a pause for the pledge of allegiance. I do this to show pride and patriotism in my country. And I do it to tick off liberals who hate the pledge of allegiance.
