I'm in the company of CNN's business editor at large. You will know him very well indeed.

None other than Richard Quest, who I've known for quite some years, but who is clearly around the

globe all the time covering the big stories that matter, doing a vast amount of

travelling and a vast amount of reporting on travel, working for an American organisation,

which you may have noticed isn't perhaps the favourite viewing in the White House. And I'm really

keen to talk to Richard about how things are looking from an American perspective and what

that means for travellers in the UK and elsewhere. Richard, how are are looking from an American perspective and what that means for

travellers in the UK and elsewhere. Richard, how are you feeling after these couple of exciting

months of President Trump's second turn? It's extraordinary. It's extraordinary because we're right

in the midst of it. We don't know which way it's going. The level of chaos and confusion is off

the charts.

We are seeing policies introduced which one side love, the other side loathe, and we have no

idea really. The tariffs is a good example. How can any company, how can any business leader

have a strategy when it's tariffs on, tariffs off, tariffs change, tariffs

up, tariffs this, tariff's this, tariff, that. So it's very, very difficult at the moment.

And of course, we've seen that. You've been reporting on it for how it's affecting the markets.

But let's look at travel specifically. We've been hearing that more people are going to be

flying from the UK to the US than ever before this coming summer.

Do you think that will actually materialise?

We can't know at the moment, yes, the capacity is up there.

But what's the fly in the ointment?
