This lady's in the newspaper because she's turned in 100,

and they were asking her questions about her life.

She said it really fast fast and i thought that was

interesting second thing she started talking about her husband oh her husband they got married young um he was sent to the philippines

right before war war two like a week before that it breaks out he winds up shot four times. And then he's taken in as a

prisoner. All his friends are killed. He's a prisoner of war for the entire war. She didn't know

where he was. He comes out. He struggles with alcoholism as an ex P.O.W. He dies in the 50s

because of cancer, which she thinks is from Hiroshima because he was so close to where the bomb went off.

All of this just kind of like, yeah, this happened and that happened.

She's going back over her life story.

And she said, yeah, we had a lot of problems, but, and this is what I loved.

This was the takeaway from me from this 100 year

woman talking about her husband there were a lot of problems but the pros outweighed the

cons and then her last sentence was I'm so glad I married that man wow and I'm just thinking and

so if other guys listen like I suppose women, you could receive this too, maybe.

But my takeaway from that, me was like, I want my wife saying that.

Like looking back on it, maybe she's a widow.

Maybe she outlives me by a bunch of years.
