People have the wrong idea about Jesus in many cases. They picture him as this detached, otherworldly, you know, guy with, I don't know how to describe it, like an alien from another planet, just speaking in a boring manner.

but that chronic illness then caused her to be an outcast in her own culture and to be separate.

And so you have two different kinds of problems going on, which I think women today find highly

relatable. I have definitely felt like I'm on the fringes or I'm outcasted,

and many women have had chronic illness in a way that never seems to go away, and I'm sure there

are times like, Lord, just heal it, please, or why won't you heal it? And so I think, you know,

Jesus intersecting that particular woman's life is meaningful to a lot of people.

The book is called The Day I Met Jesus, and it's about how Jesus interacted with women and other people in the margins of the culture.

It's fascinating, too.

And that was something that was affecting to you.

It reminds me, even when I walk into church on a Sunday, it reminds me to keep my eyes wide open to the people that might be on the fringes.
